The Porlex Tall Professional is a compact, high-performance hand grinder, crafted for coffee enthusiasts who prioritize portability without sacrificing precision. This latest version maintains the signature design and build quality of Porlex's previous models while incorporating important upgrades for an enhanced grinding experience.

The biggest and major difference of the Professional edition is the incorporation of a new Ceramic Burr Set. This new Burr set allows for faster grinding with a more uniform grind size giving better extraction and a more balanced cup of coffee.

These new ceramic burrs have a glass coating making it also easier to wash and gives a 15% efficiency on grinding. 

Even though they are coated the burrs are still very sharp while having amazing surface smoothness, even better than the Comandante C40 allowing fantastic granular consistency and coffee slides down the burr surface smoothly making the grinding experience feel lighter and smoother.

The Porlex ceramic burrs are even harder than metal burrs found in many other hand grinders making light roasted coffee been grinding a breeze

The ceramic blade does not rust and does not deteriorate or chip with continued use, so it with careful treatment it should last a lifetime.

Although Porlex Ceramic Burrs are very very hard and perfect for grinding coffee please note all Ceramic materials are brittle and if dropped from a height they will shatter due to impacts. Please be careful when cleaning your burrs that you do not drop them as this is not covered under warranty.
